  • Bridge brings new life to park
    A 10,000 pound bridge is bringing new life to the Noon Lions Club Park just west of Marshalltown on Iowa Avenue. The club purchased the used bridge for $175 from Marshall County and had a crane place it over a creek at the entrance to the park on Friday. The 9-feet by 40-feet steel bridge will take the place of an old wooden walking bridge at the park which was unsafe.
